Qpong Tournament has
quietly passed
Unfortunately the qpong tournament didn't work out very
well for several reasons. I would like to see a QPong league
form where QPongers can meet at scheduled times and get a few
games in. If anyone is interested in helping to form this
league e-mail me at qpong@qp.org.
Here is how its going to work: Each team
will play every other team who is registered for the tournament.
When all matches are played the wins for each team will be
counted. If ties occur, in the number of wins, there will be
play off games between the teams who have tied. Bellow is a calendar
where teams will sign up for ALL of the days and times
when their team is available to play matches. When two teams
are free for a match at the same time then that time slot will become
theirs to play on the Kannibas
Match Server. Information about all matches must be sent
to qpong@qp.org prior to the
match in order for it to be official. Teams are allowed to
agree on a date and time to play the match but qpong@qp.org
must be notified so a ref. can be assigned to the match.

| Rules: |
| 1. Each
team must consist of 3 players and may have additional
subs. |
| 2.
All players from each
team must be present for the battle to
begin. |
| 3.
There will be a ref for every match (group of battles)
that is played. This ref must be present for the
match to begin. Persons will either volunteer to be
a ref or persons may be requested to ref a match. |
| 4.
Every battle must have a ref present to watch over the
game, change the maps, and make sure that none of the
players have frozen. If a player is frozen or has
left the game then the ref will tell everyone to halt the
game. If a ref halts the game then all players must
stop shooting and moving. The ref will let the game
continue when all players are present again. |
| 5. To determine which team is
the winner, three games will be played each on a different
map (these three maps will be the result of a vote from
everyone involved in the tournament). |
| 6. Screen shots of the final
score must be taken by the ref but all players are
encouraged to take a screen shot incase the ref doesn't
and to avoid conflicting stories. :) |
